A new chapter starts today…
Today we are embarking on a new chapter at blooom – one that we believe will ultimately result in an enhanced offering in the retirement marketplace but unfortunately, this requires us to shut down the current blooom service effective immediately. Please refer to the FAQs below for additional information and answers to frequently asked questions.
From all of us at blooom – we sincerely thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you with your retirement savings – we wish you all the best going forward.

Your investments will remain as they are currently. You will continue to maintain control over your investments by logging directly into your retirement account via your retirement account recordkeeper.
Your money hasn’t moved. It is still being held at the same institution. To see your balances and access your account, visit your institution directly and log in.
Any user credentials (User IDs, passwords, etc) which you provided to blooom will be permanently deleted. Blooom will retain an archive of past transactions, correspondence, and other key information to meet its compliance obligations with the SEC. If you used blooom to review the current status of your account balance and investments, you can continue to get that information directly from your institution.
In connection with these changes, we may transfer your contact and related client financial information which is permissible under the terms of the client agreement and our privacy policy Thus, we or a future partner may be in touch with you in the future to discuss how to support you in achieving your long-term financial goals.
Blooom will begin processing prorated refunds promptly. Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to post to your original form of payment.
Unfortunately, there really aren’t any other services doing what blooom does for investors, aside from what might be offered directly through your plan at work. If you work with another advisor for your other investment accounts and financial planning needs, while they may not be able to manage your retirement account(s) for you, they should be able to provide guidance that aligns with the rest of your financial goals.
We no longer have the ability to manage your account and have terminated our agreement with all of our clients. We are not able to continue to provide our services after this termination.
